Awards

KSSIA has instituted an award as a novel venture for the millennium. The best SSI Unit of the district will be rewarded with a certificate and an Ever Rolling Trophy gifted by Rani Rubber Factory, Industrial Estate, Changanacherry in memory of their founder, Late Mr. Joseph Sebastian (Devasiachen), Past President of KSSIA, Kottayam. He was a dedicated and noble industrialist who had been a real motivation to many businessmen in and around Changanacherry.

The award will be decided by an expert judging committee of senior industrialists of our area on the basis of the data sheet being circulated among the member units of KSSIA. The award will be confined to units situated in Kottayam district only.

The 1st and 2nd runners up will be nominated to the State Association for the All Kerala Best SSI Unit awards. The winner will receive the Trophy during the valedictory function of Index.
