She got best entrepreneur award and best unit (women) award in 1987 and in 1998 she got the best Business Women Award in Kottayam District which was awarded by the Jsenet of Kottayam Junior Chamber. In 1998-99 she achieved the state award for best Small Scale industries entrepreneur and at the same time she won a cash award for being the best Business women in Kerala.
She is the partner of 'The Malabar Cost Products' and also the director of The Malabar Food Processors (Pvt.) a Limited company which markets processed food products in Kerala. Mrs. Soosy George Isaac has attended a specialised course in the quality control of pickles conducted by the Central Food Technological Reserch Institute, Mysore and completed the certificate course in fruit and vegetable preservation technology conducted by the Small Industries Service Institute, Thrissur. She has also completed a certificate course in management and a specialised course in marketing conducted by the Small Industries Service Institute, Thrissur. She has considerable experience in qualify control and assurance systems as applicable to small scale manufacturers of preserved fruits and vegetables.
At present she is the vice president of women’s consumer guidance and State treasurer of National Human Rights Council. She is the Past President of the Kerala State Small Industries Association (Kottayam Unit) and has been a member of the executive committee of the Kerala State Small Industries Association for many years. She has been the President of the Inner Wheel Club of the main Rotary Club of Kottayam. She is currently State President of the Kerala State Women's Industries Association and President of the Kottayam Social Action Council and a member of the executive committee of the Gandhi Peace Foundation Kottayam and the Kottayam Public Library.
