‘Social Security Fund’ for the members of the associationThe Finance Minister proclaimed social security fund of Rs.1 crore in the 2009-2010 budget for the small-scale entrepreneurs and this was allowed due to the continuous pressure of the association. So the members are requested to join the ‘Social Security Fund’ of the association which was started recently. A member must pay Rs.10300 inorder to join this fund. If a member die of any reason, their family will get upto Rs.15 lakh from the association only if he is a member of Social Security Fund. The association will grant upto Rs.2 lakh for members if they are suffering from serious diseases or accidents. Also they will get credit card of Rs.2 lakh through syndicate bank. So every member must join this fund inorder to lead a safe and secure life. The members can contact association state office or district office for further details and application form. SIDCO Industries Estate documentA meeting held under the Industrial Minister on 23rd April 2009 at Trivandrum was decided to grant documents to industrialists of SIDCO Industries Estate. This was done as a result of continuous pressure of the association. The important achievements of the association- The Kerala Government granted Rs.1 Crore for the welfare of small-scale units through ‘Social Security Fund’. This was achieved due to the continuous pressure of the association.
- This year Rs.35 crore is allocated for the welfare of the small scale industries and that of last year was Rs.8 crore.
- A loan scheme of Rs.500 crore was organized for the small scale and middleclass industries.
- The time limit for the tax defaulters is extended upto this June.
- The arrangement of E-filing procedure is alleviated.
- The mode of electronic payment and electronic tendering is promulgated
- The tax rate for the cement block (floor) is reduced to 4 %.
- The tax rate is deducted for the metal crusher, plastic coating kitchen stand and CFL lamps.
Factory License OrderAs per the Government order 04.02.2009, it was decided to aggravate the Factory Licence fees. The respected copy of the particular order is available at the association office. Please study and report your suggestions and opinions to the association at the earliest. |
