The company manufactures chemically treated and artificially seasoned RSKD (Rough Sawn Kilm Dried),
four sides plained (S4S) Rubber Wood (Heavea Barasiliensis) furniture components and finger jointed and edge glued Panel Boards. The company has been exporting 75% of its products to Europe and USA.
Rubber Wood in solid or laminated form is used to manufacture furniture, furniture components, mouldings, kitchen cabinets, parquetry strip floorings etc. It is also used to produce toys and various wooden items.
Gomma Solid Wood Panel Boards are made using the technique of finger-jointing and edge gluing. Rubber wood logs are sawn to sections. Sawn sections are chemically treated and seasoned under controlled
conditions of humidity and temperature.
These sections of shorter lengths are finger jointed to form long lamellas. Lamellas are edge glued to form boards of convenient sizes. This method enables production of solid wood panels, which are far superior to other panel products available today. The panels, available in standard thickness varying from 12mm to 50mm, are an open invitation to a creative genius.
The product is very adaptable to sawing, chiseling, engraving, carving, moulding and staining like solid wood.
Products
In Gomma, one can find Solid Wood Panel Boards made by most advanced and sophisticated German technology combining finger jointing and edge gluing (butt jointing). The plained rubber wood pieces of specific thickness is sorted based on colour and grain structure which results in panel boards of 3 different grades namely AA (two side clear), AB (one side clear) and BB (allows knots and marks). The boards are made in different thickness of 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 40mm and are available in standard size of 8’ x 4’ (2440mm x 1220 mm). We are open for customer specific sizes as well.
Some of the machineries used for Panel Board production are given below.

We manufacture and supply the below types of scantlings which can be used for any kind of wood work.
